InkTec Europe has launched a brand new equivalent UV ink – perfect for Mimaki UCJV300-160 large format printers. More than just being completely compatible; it has an improved, high density white which means it delivers less yellowing than the original inks. It is also extremely competitive on price.
The UCJV300-160 roll-to-roll is renowned as a versatile inkjet printer, which combines both printing and cutting. These printers use Mimaki LUS-170 ink and this ink from InkTec Europe matches all of its attributes – wide colour gamut, light fastness and excellent UV resistance. However the intensity of the white in these inks takes them to a new level.
These inks require no colour profile changes, so switch over is easy and you can start using them straight away. They deliver all of the bright, vibrant and excellent media adhesion that the existing ink has, combined with superior printing stability and UV resistance. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications, the ink is currently available in 1 litre bottles.
When discussing these new inks, Peter Davidson, Head of IP Consumable Sales at InkTec Europe said:
“This range of inks builds on the expansion of InkTec Europe’s portfolio of large format inks and media being introduced this year. With everything going on we recognise that now is the time that many in our industry will be looking at how they can reduce costs and maximise sales. It is not easy out there! So if we can bring an equivalent ink which strikes the balance between affordability and functionality with added bonus features such as the brighter white, then that is what we are going to do.”
