Sign & Digital in 2012, saw EcoSigns seeking a replacement for their two aging Agfa Anapurna. With much of their business focused on the outdoor signage market, they were keen to see what a JETRIX printer could deliver, particularly at tackling an historic problem of inks not adhering to certain, frequently used plastic substrates.
The Next Steps
The demonstration of the 2 x 3m JETRIX 2030 at InkTec’s Innovation Centre in Witney revealed that the ink set was able to solve this historic problem.
The JETRIX 2030 was installed and was an instant success, enabling Eco Signs win more contracts, particularly with national building companies than they had managed previously.
As a result, a second 2030 was purchased in January 2013, closely followed by a third.
The addition of the 2030’s has saved Eco Signs tens of thousands on waste materials and production costs, whilst giving their national clients print on demand, no matter where they are based in the UK.
“InkTec were able to help us find a solution for our printing needs as well as finding a solution to a long standing problem with our inks. InkTec’s support has been invaluable and has assisted our growth within the last year dramatically.”
